The UEFA Champions League’s English-language US streaming rights are held by Paramount+ through the 2026-27 season under the rights cycle agreed in 2024. The free-to-air network CBS picks up selected high-profile matches from the round of 16 onwards. Spanish-language coverage sits on Univision, TUDN and the ViX streaming service.
How to watch in the US
- Paramount+ Essential — $7.99/month with ads. Carries every Champions League match live, every group-stage round and every knockout tie, plus the dedicated CBS Sports Golazo Network for studio output. The $12.99/month Paramount+ with Showtime tier adds movies and series but no additional UCL coverage.
- CBS — free-to-air, broadcasts roughly six to eight Champions League matches per season on the linear network. Group-stage matches are played Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and CBS typically reserves its over-the-air windows for selected midweek knockout ties from the round of 16 onwards. Also accessible via CBS.com with a free account.
- Univision and TUDN carry the Spanish-language broadcast on the TUDN cable channel.
- ViX Premium — $6.99/month, the cheapest legal way to follow the Champions League live in the US, with Spanish-language commentary covering every match.
The 2025-26 Champions League final is scheduled for Saturday 30 May 2026 at Puskás Aréna in Budapest. Paramount+ will stream it live, CBS is expected to carry the English-language broadcast on the linear network, and Univision, TUDN and ViX cover the Spanish-language window.
A note on match days
Champions League fixtures are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, never Sundays. The only Sunday match in the competition is the final. Group-stage matchdays cluster six fixtures across each midweek night, with the marquee kickoffs at 3:00 p.m. ET (9:00 p.m. CET).
Free trial timing
Paramount+ runs a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. The trial covers Champions League live matches. After the trial, the $7.99 ad-supported Essential tier kicks in.
