Major League Soccer’s broadcast rights are held in full by Apple TV+ through the 2032 season, sold as the MLS Season Pass add-on. Apple’s deal, agreed in 2022 and reportedly worth $2.5 billion across ten seasons, replaced the old patchwork of ESPN, Fox and Univision regional packages.
How to watch in the US
- MLS Season Pass standalone — $14.99/month or $99 for the full 2026 season. No Apple TV+ subscription required; the pass streams in the Apple TV app on phones, tablets, smart TVs and the web.
- MLS Season Pass for existing Apple TV+ subscribers — $12.99/month or $79 for the season. This is the meaningful discount: pairing the $9.99/month Apple TV+ base with the discounted Season Pass adds up to roughly $23/month total, which is $2/month less than buying Season Pass standalone and skipping Apple TV+ entirely.
- Apple TV+ base subscription — $9.99/month, separate product, no MLS coverage on its own but the gateway to the $12.99 Season Pass tier.
- A handful of regular-season matches air free inside the Apple TV app for anyone with an Apple ID, no subscription required. Apple has used this lever most often for Inter Miami fixtures featuring Lionel Messi, and the MLS Cup final is typically opened up the same way on final day.
- FOX and FS1 sublicense roughly 18 regular-season matches plus selected playoff fixtures under an agreement with Apple, airing the marquee Sunday-evening windows on the linear network.
Free trial and the Apple One bundle
Apple offers a seven-day free trial on the standard Apple TV+ subscription. The MLS Season Pass does not include a free trial; it is the only paid add-on Apple sells without one. To preview the product, the cleanest approach is to buy a single month at $14.99 (or $12.99 if you already subscribe to Apple TV+) and cancel before renewal.
The 2026 season calendar
The 2026 MLS regular season runs from late February through October. The playoffs run in November, with the MLS Cup final on Saturday 5 December 2026. The 2026 MLS All-Star Game is scheduled for late July and follows the MLS All-Stars vs Liga MX All-Stars format that the league has used since 2024. The match is carried on Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass.
